Benfica has a home game against Naval this Saturday before the all important game against AC Milan on Tuesday.   With all the players that are injured or playing for their national teams Camacho will probably be giving a few players a shot to show their stuff.

Luisão is still injured, although it doesn´t seem to be from the same injury that has been afflicting him lately.  Nuno Gomes and Petit played two games for Portugal the last few days and could also see some rest.  It will be harder to rest Petit, all thought he ran more than anyone in yesterday´s game against Serbia, Benfica doesn´t have many options for that position.  Especially with Katsouranis relinquished to a defense roll.  But then again he also played for Greece.  Zoro seems to have fully recovered from the injury that he suffered and could play by Katsouranis side.  Edcarlos is available, but I don´t think Camacho would test two new players on the defense in one game.

Maxi Pereira, Cristian Rodríguez and Óscar Cardozo were also in South America with their respective national teams.  Cardozo is still recovering from the “Copa America” and has´t seen much rest, if any.  But I am sure he would like to see minutes against a team like Naval, where he could possibly score.

Di Maria should continue to see playing time, he is clearly gaining momentum and another game under his belt before the Milan game will only help.  He was sidelined for some time and needs to get those minutes in to achieve his plenitude.  Freddy Adu has been practicing very well, and could see some playing time also, as well as Bergessio.  All these players are eager to show their stuff, and some will get their chance this Saturday.
