The final numbers are in and Benfica had the highest average attendance this season in the Portuguese League. Benfica had a average of 39055 fans per game. And was the only team in division one to increase attendance numbers from last year. We are the biggest! Isn´t it amazing when its sold out

Zoro, will be the second player to sign for SL Benfica for next season. He is a defensive player and plays both on the right side as well as in the middle of the defense. And as much as I like Leo, he needs to take a breather sometimes and this year we had nobody to cover the right side. Zoro is coming from Messina in Italy, but I can not tell you much about him.

And on a final note, Benfica declined to participate in the very prestigious Teresa Herrera Tournament in August. The reason being that it will coincide with the first games Benfica has to play in the Champions League pre-qualifying round. I think its a wise decision, so we don´t repeat some of the mistakes that happened in the beginning of last season.
